Pantami Denies Governor’s Alleged Plot, Blasts Theo Abu Agada’s ‘Evil Agenda’

Pantami Denies Governor’s Alleged Plot, Blasts Theo Abu Agada’s ‘Evil Agenda’

At a stakeholders meeting in Gombe, it was reported that Governor Inuwa Yahaya asked Prof Isa Ali Pantami to abandon his governorship bid and support the APC consensus candidate. Pantami has rejected this account, saying no such request was made and that the governor even invited him to speak at the event. In his response, Pantami addressed Theo Abu Agada directly. He warned that Abu Agada would never succeed with what he called an “evil agenda,” adding that no plan can prevail against someone backed by God.

What do you think prompted Pantami to publicly deny the governor's alleged request at that Gombe meeting?

What evidence might he have that compelled such a public denial, rather than handling it internally?

You think Pantami had proof to back his denial, or could politics alone drive that public statement?

It seems surprising Pantami claims no request was made when sources reported the governor invited him to step aside. Something doesn't add up.

I'm not convinced Pantami would speak out so strongly without some hidden motive or political angle in play.

Stakeholders should release a clear timeline of events from the meeting to clarify the truth and ease party tension.
