Ekiti Plans Hostel, Water and Power Upgrades at NYSC Orientation Camp
The Ekiti State Government says it will renovate and upgrade the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Ise-Orun/Emure Ekiti. Governor Biodun Oyebanji announced the plan during the swearing-in of 2,199 prospective corps members for the 2026 Batch B, Stream II orientation exercise. He said the work would be done in phases. The proposed upgrade includes rehabilitating hostels, improving water and electricity supply, upgrading sanitation facilities, enhancing the parade ground and providing additional amenities for corps members and camp officials. The state said it wants the camp to rank among Nigeria’s best.
