Okpekpe 10km Road Race Taps Dr Bojuwoye as Medical Director, Unveils Five Sponsors
The organisers of the Okpekpe International 10km Road Race have appointed Dr Adebukola Bojuwoye to lead the medical unit for the 11th edition on May 30 in Okpekpe, Edo State. Dr Bojuwoye brings extensive experience in managing medical support at major road-running events across Nigeria. His duties include coordinating emergency response teams, setting up first aid stations along the route, and supervising paramedics and volunteers to ensure the safety of athletes and spectators. His leadership will be vital in safeguarding both elite and recreational participants. Organisers also announced five corporate partners: the Development Bank of Nigeria, Petralon Energy, Razzl Drink, Dan Oil, and Carloha Motors. Backed by Edo State, the event aims to boost tourism, foster community pride, and strengthen Nigeria’s standing in global athletics.
