My name is Promise Orevaoghene. I’ve carried a deep void since my mother disappeared more than a decade ago. Francisca Jennifer Ogheneghalome Eke was born on February 20, 1976 in Lagos and hails from Umunede, Delta State. In 2007 she travelled abroad when I was four and has not been heard from since. Even her own family is unsure whether she is in France, Germany or Spain. Her siblings Faith, Doris and Solomon Eke, and her mother Patricia “Mamo” Eke, join me in this desperate search.
