A multi-storey building collapsed on Thursday morning at the Alakija Bus Stop on Old Ojo Road, Lagos. Several occupants were feared trapped under the rubble. Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service teams, police and other emergency responders arrived quickly. They cordoned off the scene and launched search and rescue operations. Some victims have been pulled from the debris and taken to nearby hospitals. Rescue crews are still working to find anyone still missing. Officials have urged residents to keep clear while investigations into the cause get underway.
