ADC Acting Youth Leader Sultan Ahmed Bello Quits Over Hostile Attacks

In an open letter to Hon. Nafi’u Bala Gombe, Sultan Ahmed Bello announced his immediate resignation as Acting National Youth Leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). He cited persistent insults and hostile social media attacks linked to his association with the ADC faction. One remark even prayed that Allah deal with him and his family as He did with Pharaoh and his people at the Red Sea. He said such harmful prayers weigh heavily on his conscience and that he must protect his peace and his family’s well-being. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve before tendering his resignation.
