Oliver Tree Dies in Tragic Helicopter Crash in Brazil

Oliver Tree, the US singer behind hits like “Life Goes On” and “Alien Boy”, has died in a helicopter collision over Rio de Janeiro. He was 32. Two helicopters crashed on Sunday, with one plummeting into a dealership car park and igniting a fire that destroyed about 20 vehicles. Brazilian authorities say an investigation is under way. The Military Fire Department of Rio de Janeiro answered emergency calls around 9 a.m. local time. Argentine content creator Gaspi and at least four others were also on board. Tree had just wrapped a show in São Paulo and was due to kick off his European tour next month. Fellow artists KSI and Steve-O have paid tribute to him on social media.
