Kano Teacher Remanded Over Alleged Abuse of Four Sisters Aged 5–7
A teacher at Al-Hadeed Private School in Inusawa, Ungogo LGA, Kano State has been accused of sexually abusing four sisters, aged between 5 and 7. A lawyer confirmed on Monday that the victims—three seven-year-olds and their five-year-old sister—identified their teacher as “Uncle Kamal.” The abuse came to light when their mother noticed one of the children could not control her bowels. Upon questioning, all four girls described similar assaults. Medical examinations later confirmed they had been abused. After gathering evidence, police arraigned the suspect before the Senior Magistrate Court No. 27 in No-Mans-Land, Kano. He has been remanded in custody, and the case was adjourned to June 9, 2026.
