Aviation Workers’ Strike Leaves Abuja Airport Passengers Stranded

Passengers were stranded at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Tuesday after an industrial action by aviation workers disrupted airline operations. Travellers were initially locked out of the terminal before being allowed in. However, many said they received no clear update on their flights, the workers involved in the action, or when normal operations would resume. An affected passenger travelling to Enugu described severe congestion inside the terminal, with families and children among those left frustrated. Passengers have called on aviation authorities and airlines to resolve the dispute quickly and provide clear information on flight arrangements.
