Florida Man in Superman Costume Arrested Over Alleged Boat Burglary
A Florida man was arrested after deputies allegedly found him in a Superman costume following a reported burglary of a boat. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said James Tidwell was accused of entering the boat’s cabin and taking several power tools. Body-camera footage reportedly shows deputies confronting him while he was still wearing the costume. Investigators said he admitted taking items from the vessel. He was charged with felony burglary of an unoccupied conveyance and first-degree petit theft, then later released on a $5,500 bond. The case is expected to proceed through the Florida court system.
