Apostle Promise Momo Urges South Africa to Act Against Xenophobic Violence
In a statement released in Abuja, Apostle Promise Momo of Zion Flames Ministry called on the South African government to take firm action against those responsible for recent attacks on foreign nationals. He urged Nigerians at home and abroad to stay calm, peaceful and steadfast in their faith despite rising tensions. The cleric blamed Africa’s slow development on disunity and warned that tribalism and xenophobia continue to undermine the continent’s progress. He stressed that true unity, mutual respect and harmony are essential for spiritual growth and economic prosperity across Africa. Describing the violence as the work of a few bad actors, he praised the majority of South Africans as peace-loving and appealed for continued peace and solidarity among all Africans.
