Tragedy in Ibadan: Two Bodies Recovered After Toyota Avensis Plunges into Ariyo River

The Oyo State Fire Service Agency recovered two bodies after a Toyota Avensis drove off the Amuloko road and plunged into the Ariyo River in Ona Ara, Ibadan on May 29. Firefighters arrived to find the vehicle completely submerged and immediately began rescue operations. They confirmed the two passengers had drowned before recovering the bodies. The remains were handed over to officers from the Ogbere Divisional Police Station, led by ASP Adesuwa Sesan, for further investigation.
