Local councils praising the IGP's integrity shows strong community support, yet past ceremonies haven't always led to real change on the ground.

Honouring the IGP at a reception with senators is fine, but I worry it risks being more about ceremony than addressing real security gaps.

Maybe local leaders should follow up this event by forming community-police forums in Ilaro to track progress on security initiatives.
