Ghana’s President Prays Daily for Nigeria’s Progress

Ghana’s President John Mahama says he wakes up each morning praying for the Nigerian government to get its act together. He emphasised that Nigeria’s success directly affects Ghana’s security and economy. With roughly 250 million Nigerians and around one million potential migrants, a thriving Nigeria benefits its neighbour. “Every day when I wake up, I pray: ‘God, let Nigeria get their acts together,’” he said during his address.
