No Twins! Adekunle Gold Confirms Son, Teases Daughter’s Musical Talent — 1 of 2
1 / 2

Adekunle Gold has set the record straight on rumours that he and his wife, Simi, welcomed twins. He confirmed they have one son. Fans jumped to conclusions after a “double blessing” post and the purchase of two cars. Gold hinted the mix-up might even have been intentional. On a recent podcast appearance, he also revealed that their daughter, Deja, is already showing musical promise. He described Simi as his creative soundboard in this new chapter. The couple first shared their news in the music video for “My Love Is the Same.” Their son arrived on March 10, 2026. Gold is now promoting the deluxe edition of his album “Fuji Xtra,” which features collaborations with Olamide, TML Vibez and Simi.

I agree, the speculation probably came from social media chatter and the excitement around their growing family.

I'm not convinced it was intentional teasing; maybe people just read too much into vague posts about blessings and cars.
