Ebubu Politician Gunned Down by Masked Assailants in Rivers State Hotel

On May 22 in Ebubu, Eleme LGA, two masked gunmen shot dead community mobilizer and politician Samuel Obe Ngobe inside his own hotel. Witnesses say the attackers trailed him to his business complex, executed him, and fled on a motorcycle. They also seized staff phones to prevent an alarm. Ebubu youths have condemned the killing and called for a full-scale investigation. They vow to partner with law enforcement to track down the perpetrators. The Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer confirmed the incident on May 25 and says investigations are ongoing.
