He’s best known for collaborating with the Coen brothers in films like Raising Arizona and The Big Lebowski, voicing fan favorites in Monsters, Inc., and starring as Dan Conner on Roseanne and its spin-off The Conners. Born in Missouri in 1952, Goodman overcame the loss of his father and school bullying to pursue theatre at Missouri State University. Goodman has supported Hurricane Katrina relief and oil spill recovery campaigns and remains a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan. A recovering alcoholic since 2007, he now manages his health and depression through daily AA meetings and regular exercise, marking a remarkable weight loss and renewed outlook on life.
