200-Level ABSU Student Dies in Head-On Crash on Okigwe/Afikpo Expressway
A fatal collision on April 19, 2026 claimed the life of Ifeanyi Mmesoma Miracle, a 200-level student of Abia State University. The crash occurred at Uturu’s Water Board area along the Okigwe/Afikpo Expressway. According to the State Police Command, two motorcycles collided head-on, throwing passengers onto the road. Miss Miracle was tragically run over by an oncoming Mack truck. A video of the scene circulated online, drawing widespread attention. Officers from the Motor Traffic Department visited the site and recovered the vehicles involved. Injured passengers were taken to hospital and are receiving treatment. The remains of the deceased have been released to her family following medical confirmation of death.
