Woman Says AI-Generated Evidence Led to Her NYSC Camp Expulsion Over Adultery Allegation

A married corps member has shared her account of being expelled from an NYSC orientation camp in 2022 after she was accused of adultery with another corps member. She said the allegation was false and claimed that a corps member whose romantic advances she rejected used AI-generated photos and videos to frame her. According to her, her husband believed her and took the matter to the NYSC director-general's office for review. She said a forensic investigation found that the alleged evidence had been manipulated. She added that NYSC apologised, allowed her to return to camp and complete her service, while the corps member accused of framing her received a one-month service extension.
