The footage opens with Robert Downey Jr. appearing as a masked Doctor Doom, a dramatic departure from his Iron Man legacy. We also see a showdown between Gambit (Channing Tatum) and Shang-Chi (Simu Liu). Patrick Stewart returns as Professor Xavier, warning of an imminent threat. Chris Evans is back as Steve Rogers, who says he only returned because “these heroes need Steve Rogers,” and Chris Hemsworth joins him as Thor.
