Sanwo-Olu Awards ₦20 Million Each to LASU’s Top Graduates

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has awarded ₦20 million each to LASU’s best graduating students for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions. Ayilara Lawal Olawale, a Project Management graduate with a 4.96 CGPA, emerged as the overall best student for 2024/2025. Adebanjo Samuel Oluolamide, who studied Aerospace Engineering and graduated with a 4.97 CGPA, topped the 2025/2026 session. The governor announced the rewards at LASU’s combined 29th and 30th convocation in Ojo. A total of 20,604 students graduated across both sessions, including 494 First Class graduates and 238 PhD holders. Sanwo-Olu urged the graduates to use their skills, character and knowledge to serve society and represent LASU, Lagos State and Nigeria positively.
