Peter Obi’s Party Hopping: Desperation or Strategy?

Peter Obi has switched parties four times in quick succession. He left APGA for PDP ahead of a tough primary, then moved to Labour Party when the contest seemed easier. After leading Labour Party into internal crises, he jumped to ADC, only to depart again when legal battles arose. Most recently, he joined NDC instead of staying to resolve issues. These constant moves raise questions: Is he avoiding challenges? Is he so desperate he needs easy wins? Or is he merely a spoiler dividing opposition votes? Few would call this the mark of a steadfast leader.

With four party switches in such a short period, do you think Obi's moves show genuine political agility or mere opportunism?

I agree, switching four times in such a short span raises real questions about consistency over strategic vision.

I agree those rapid shifts feel less like strategy and more like opportunism.

It's curious he left APGA before that PDP primary and then abandoned Labour Party amid internal crises so swiftly.

Voters should track each campaign's policy records rather than just follow Obi's trail of party logos from APGA to ADC.
