Liverpool Teen Rio Ngumoha Eyes World Cup Glory with Super Eagles

Liverpool Teen Rio Ngumoha Eyes World Cup Glory with Super Eagles — 1 of 2
1 / 2

Liverpool prodigy Rio Ngumoha has set his sights on winning the FIFA World Cup with Nigeria. Though he currently features for England’s youth sides, the 16-year-old says nothing beats celebrating global triumph with the Super Eagles. In a recent interview, Ngumoha explained that lifting the World Cup trophy with his country surpasses any club achievement. “Of course, I want the Champions League and Premier League, but the main one is the World Cup,” he said. His decision looms large as Nigeria rebuilds for upcoming tournaments like AFCON 2027 and World Cup 2030. Ngumoha’s choice could boost the Super Eagles after Nigeria missed out on the last two World Cups.
