Iran Fires 12 Ballistic Missiles at Al-Azraq Base in Jordan, Claims US Jets Destroyed
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps says it launched 12 ballistic missiles at Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan, targeting facilities that host American F-35, F-15 and F-16 fighter jets. The IRGC statement claims the strikes destroyed runways and hangars, as well as a large number of US aircraft. It says the operation was in retaliation for recent US missile attacks on sites near Tehran and a Revolutionary Guard base in Pishva County. Earlier reports from the IRGC mention assaults on US targets at Ali Al Salem and Ahmad Al Jaber bases in Kuwait, Sheikh Isa base in Bahrain, Patriot systems, communications sites and the US Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain. It is clear that America hasn’t learned from Vietnam, Korea or Afghanistan. You can’t fight thousands of miles from home and win. The arrogance and stupidity of the current president, surrounded by sycophants, is hurting the US. Iran isn’t Venezuela. Iranians are fiercely patriotic and will defend their country against imperial forces—not like the people we have here in Nigeria.
