Troops Arrest Two Suspected ISWAP Suppliers in Borno, Recover Alleged Gate Pass
Troops of Sector 3, Operation HADIN KAI and the Multinational Joint Task Force have arrested two men suspected of supplying logistics to ISWAP fighters in Monguno, Borno State. The arrests were made on August 3 at the C-19 checkpoint after intelligence-led surveillance. The suspects allegedly told investigators that they were taking food items and other supplies to fighters in Kwatan Dowoshi village, Kukawa Local Government Area. Troops recovered cartons of biscuits, milk, sugar, garri, soap, headlamps, lighters, phones, herbal medicine and cash. An alleged ISWAP-issued gate pass was also recovered. The suspects and exhibits are being held at Sector 3 headquarters for further investigation.
