Courageous 6-Year-Old Girl Bites Suspect, Thwarts Attack in KZN

A man was arrested after attempting to sexually assault a six-year-old girl in Waterloo, KwaZulu-Natal. The child was playing near a roadway on May 7 when the suspect allegedly dragged her into nearby bushes. He covered her mouth and told her not to scream. She bit his hand and shouted for help. Two passersby saw the suspect emerging with the girl and held him until Reaction Unit South Africa arrived. The suspect sustained leg injuries during his apprehension.
