President Gusau Swears in NFF Electoral and Appeals Panels Ahead of September 26 Poll

President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau inaugurated the Nigeria Football Federation’s Electoral Committee and Electoral Appeals Committee at the NFF Secretariat in Abuja. He urged members to carry out their duties with impartiality and integrity. Speaking for both panels, SAN Barr. Matthew Burka’a pledged to deliver a free, fair and credible election that meets the expectations of FIFA, CAF and Nigerian football fans. Gusau named the principal and alternate members of each committee. Dr Mohammed Sanusi will serve as secretary to both panels in line with NFF statutes. The election for the NFF Executive Committee (2026–2030) is set for Saturday, 26th September in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
