Activist VeryDarkMan and Police Rescue Newborn Sold for ₦4.5m in Multi-State Operation

Social media activist VeryDarkMan helped police recover a newborn allegedly stolen shortly after birth and sold for ₦4.5 million. The baby’s mother reported the theft on April 25, 2026. VeryDarkMan accompanied her to the Special Tactical Squad office in Guzape, Abuja. After filing a petition and securing approval from the Force Intelligence Department, investigators moved swiftly to track the suspects. Operatives made an initial arrest in Imo State. The suspect confessed that the infant had been sold to a lawyer in Lagos State. Police then extended the operation to Lagos, where they safely recovered the child. All parties involved have been brought to Abuja ahead of the formal handover to the biological mother.
