Tobi Amusan Storms into Women’s 100m Hurdles Final with Season’s Best at Accra 2026

World record holder Tobi Amusan secured her place in the women’s 100m hurdles final at the 2026 African Senior Athletics Championships in Accra. She topped her heat in a season’s best 12.82 seconds and emerged as the fastest qualifier overall. Team Nigeria’s debutant Janet Sunday finished second among Nigerian runners, while Ghanaian record holder Evonne Britton took victory in her heat. The final is scheduled to hold at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
