Delta Police Seize 31 Vehicles in Agbor Traffic Crackdown

Delta Police Seize 31 Vehicles in Agbor Traffic Crackdown

Delta State Police operatives impounded 31 vehicles during a coordinated patrol in Agbor and neighboring communities on Friday, 3 July 2026. The operation, led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in the Department of Operations, covered the metropolis, major highways, entry and exit points, and border areas with Edo State. Vehicles were seized for non-display or obscured number plates, expired documents, covered plates, and other traffic offences. The Command’s spokesperson said the exercise aimed to reinforce police presence, deter crime, and ensure compliance with traffic and registration laws. He urged motorists to maintain valid documents and warned that the impounded vehicles will be charged in a court of competent jurisdiction.
