APC Rejects Calls for Primary Review as Tinubu Stays Silent

The All Progressives Congress has said there will be no change to its recent primary results. Senior officials insist the exercise is closed despite petitions by dozens of aggrieved aspirants. The party has finalised its list of candidates for the 2027 elections. It plans to upload the winners to the INEC portal once the access codes are released. Officials note that the window for appeals has passed and no review is planned. “Everything has been concluded. We are waiting for the code to upload the names of the winners,” a top APC source said. Some aspirants from Lagos, Delta, Rivers and other states are still hopeful that President Tinubu might intervene. But party leaders warn that unresolved grievances could harm their prospects in the next general election.
