Actress Chidera Adiele Appeals for Help Over Brother’s Mental Health Battle

Nollywood actress Chidera Adiele has appealed for public support as her younger brother continues to battle drug addiction and mental illness. She said she has been his primary caregiver and has taken him to seven psychiatric facilities, including the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Yaba, and the 68 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital. Adiele said the years of treatment have placed a heavy emotional and financial burden on her, with no lasting improvement in his condition. She described feeling exhausted by the responsibility and asked the public for assistance.
