BOUESTI Secures NUC Approval to Launch 34 Postgraduate Programmes

Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology in Ikere-Ekiti has received approval from the National Universities Commission to open its postgraduate school. The university can now award PGD, PGDE, MSc, M.Sc. Ed, M.Ed. and PhD degrees across 34 disciplines. This milestone marks BOUESTI’s first intake of postgraduate students since its establishment. The institution now joins other universities authorised to train researchers and advanced-level professionals. The NUC’s clearance followed a rigorous evaluation of staffing, facilities, curriculum, laboratories and library resources. This comes months after the university achieved full accreditation for 42 undergraduate programmes and secured approval for additional courses.
