A Sovereign Cry: Yoruba Leaders, Unite to Defend Our Schools from Terrorism
I write with a heavy heart over the recent school abductions in Ogbomoso. This act is a direct attack on our most prized industry: Education. Terrorists aim to instill fear in parents and derail our future. If we lose safe schools, we lose our cultural and economic edge. I call on our Executive Governors to treat this as a regional emergency with coordinated intelligence sharing and fortified school security. To our retired generals, lend your expertise to counter-terrorism planning. To our Traditional Obas, activate local intelligence networks and mobilize community defenders. History will judge us by how we respond. Let Ogbomoso be the last time our children are targeted. Rise up, unite, and defend the pride of Odùduwà.
