Kwankwaso Ally Who Swore Loyalty on Quran Defects to APC

Kabiru Adamu Abdullahi, a long-time associate of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has resigned from the NDC and joined the All Progressives Congress in Kano State. Abdullahi had previously sworn on the Quran to remain loyal to Kwankwaso after his disagreement with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf. In a resignation letter to the party chairman in Kofar Ruwa Ward, Dala LGA, he said he was leaving because of what he described as unfulfilled promises. He said he would now support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid under the APC, adding that his 29-year association with Kwankwaso had not brought him the recognition he expected.
