NAFDAC Bars Onifam Laboratories and Directors After Regulatory Probe

NAFDAC has blacklisted Onifam Laboratories Limited, its Managing Director, all directors, and every affiliated individual or entity for serious regulatory breaches. An extensive inquiry by the agency uncovered misrepresentation of approvals, misuse of certificates, and improper registration and transfer of pharmaceutical products. Such actions weaken accountability, undermine product traceability, and pose significant risks to public health. The ban takes immediate effect. Those blacklisted cannot apply for NAFDAC licences, certificates, or approvals, nor act as manufacturers, importers, distributors, consultants, or sponsors of regulated products. NAFDAC warns that further administrative and legal steps may follow as it reaffirms its commitment to safeguard Nigerians against substandard medicines.
