My Uncle Overstays His Welcome—How Do I Politely Ask Him to Leave?

I have an uncle who visits every so often and just never seems to go home. He arrives in the afternoon and by evening he’s still chatting. Even when my dad mentions it’s getting late or we stop offering food, he doesn’t get the hint. I love him, but sometimes I just want to sleep. Has anyone else dealt with a relative who won’t leave? What are some polite ways to end a visit without offending them?

Abeg gently tell your uncle you have an early meeting tomorrow, so he can plan to leave by evening.
