Seeing Eyes III: Daily Devotional for June 28, 2026

Theme: Seeing Eyes III Memory Verse: Ephesians 1:18 In 2 Kings 6:8–23, Elisha’s servant panicked at the sight of an enemy army. Elisha prayed, “Lord, open his eyes,” and the servant saw horses and chariots of fire sent to protect them. His fear vanished. What you see shapes your response to challenges. If your eyes are fixed only on natural threats, you will live in fear. But when God opens your spiritual eyes, you recognize that He who lives in you is greater than any problem (1 John 4:4). Face every trial with boldness. Key Point: When you have seeing eyes, you will not be afraid of any challenge that comes your way. Bible in One Year: Psalms 134–140

How do you interpret the idea of God opening our spiritual eyes like in 2 Kings 6 when fear strikes?

I agree that God revealing His unseen presence reassures us when fear creeps in.

It sounds inspiring, but is there real evidence that we perceive angelic protection or is it just comforting imagination?

I appreciate the devotional, yet insisting that fear vanishes instantly might overlook how healing and trust develop over time.

Try starting each morning by recalling a past moment when divine protection felt real, then journal your gratitude and insights.
