Knowing When to Flee: Secret #3 for Spiritual Longevity
Over the past two days, I have shared why we must hide and when to fight in our walk with God. Today, I reveal the third secret to lasting faith: knowing the right time to run. Scripture shows that we are both strong and wise. Though God’s strength is in us, there are sins—like lust—that no amount of anointing can conquer. As 2 Timothy 2:22 teaches, the only way to win these battles is to flee. This principle applies to all sin. 1 Thessalonians 5:22 urges us to avoid every hint of evil, and Psalm 1:1 warns us not to stand or sit with those who promote wickedness. Even friendly greetings and witness remain, but close fellowship must be avoided. 2 Corinthians 6:14–15 reminds us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. If we want to finish strong in life’s race, we must run from sin and refuse any partnership with darkness.
