Security agencies in Ekiti State have assured residents of extensive measures to guarantee a safe and orderly governorship election on Saturday. The Supervising Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Mustapha Fayoade, said officers and logistics are in place to protect voters, electoral officials and materials throughout the process. He urged all personnel to maintain professionalism, discipline and respect for the rule of law. Fayoade highlighted the importance of close cooperation among security agencies and appealed to political actors, voters and stakeholders to remain law-abiding and support a peaceful environment.
