David Okereke Nears Free Transfer to Serie B Side Benevento

Nigerian striker David Okereke is close to joining newly promoted Serie B club Benevento on a free transfer. The 28-year-old has reportedly agreed a two-year deal, with an option for another season. He is expected to complete his medical before signing the contract. Okereke spent last season on loan at Turkish side Gaziantep, where he scored nine goals in 29 league appearances.
