Enugu Governor Mbah Grants Scholarships to Over 760 Students and Teachers

Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has approved scholarships for more than 760 beneficiaries under the 2025/2026 Local Scholarship Scheme. The awards cover over 500 undergraduates, 100 postgraduates and 160 public sector teachers. Successful applicants who passed the Computer-Based Test have begun receiving notifications for verification. The process will run on a local government-by-local government basis to ensure transparency. This initiative is part of the administration’s push to remove financial barriers to higher education and build human capital. More beneficiaries will be included in subsequent phases, and interested residents are encouraged to apply.
