Is the Opposition Exploiting Insecurity to Undermine Tinubu?
I’ve seen many posts blaming the government for recent kidnappings in Oyo and demanding Tinubu’s removal without offering any real alternative. It seems the opposition is using insecurity as a campaign strategy. People call for Tinubu to go, but they have no answers when asked about their candidate’s plans or manifesto. Changing presidents won’t solve Nigeria’s security gaps. We need concrete reforms: state policing, forest guards, high-tech surveillance, a purge of saboteurs in our security forces and tougher penalties for kidnappers. Rather than endless emotional posts, citizens should push for these practical measures. Emotions alone won’t stop the kidnappings.
