OKX Reopens Crypto Trading and P2P Markets for Nigerians

Cryptocurrency exchange OKX has fully resumed services in Nigeria. After nearly two years of restricted operations, users can once again deposit naira and trade peer-to-peer. The halt began in August 2024 amid government measures to curb currency speculation. Nigeria’s new Investments and Securities Act now formally recognizes digital assets and empowers the SEC to regulate the market. Existing OKX account holders can log in to resume trading and P2P transactions immediately.
