Police and NIPSS Forge New Partnership on Intelligence and Leadership
The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has pledged a new partnership with the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies. The joint effort will focus on intelligence-led policing, policy reform, and leadership development. The NIPSS Director-General described the institute as Nigeria’s foremost platform for strategic research under the Presidency. He said NIPSS will support the Police Force in policy formulation, capacity building, and strategic leadership. IGP Disu welcomed the initiative, noting that collaboration with top policy institutions is crucial for advancing national security. He reaffirmed the Force’s commitment to ongoing reforms aimed at boosting professionalism and service delivery. The Force Public Relations Officer also highlighted the police’s dedication to partnerships that will strengthen internal security and ensure a safer Nigeria.
