Ogun Police Debunk Viral Bandit Attack Rumours, Confirm Schools Safe

The Ogun State Police Command has denied reports of bandit attacks in Ota and Ifo. Officers carried out on-the-spot checks at Oluke Community High School, Sango Ota High School and neighbouring communities. They found no incidents of banditry, kidnapping or security breaches. Academic and commercial activities in the affected areas continued without disruption. Students and teachers completed their schedules peacefully before schools closed as normal. Police clarified that a recent operation in Kajola-Ilese led to the arrest of 38 undocumented foreign nationals from Côte d’Ivoire. None were linked to violent crimes.
