1 / 2

Leandro Paredes has said he is unsure whether he will continue playing for Argentina after their painful World Cup final defeat to Spain. The Boca Juniors captain said he has been dealing with a fractured rib picked up earlier in the tournament. Paredes explained that he pushed through the injury with the help of the team’s medical staff. He also dismissed the rumours around Argentina’s performance, saying Spain were the better side and deserved to win the final.
