FCC’s Peter Eze Engages SURCON and NITT to Strengthen Oversight and Equity
The Federal Character Commission’s Committee on Works, Transport and Aviation, chaired by Hon. Peter Eze, met with leaders of the Surveyors Council of Nigeria and the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology at the FCC headquarters in Abuja. The session focused on deepening compliance with the Federal Character Principle, boosting transparency, and promoting equitable representation in appointments, recruitment, and resource distribution across government agencies. Both SURCON and NITT reaffirmed their commitment to professionalism, accountability, and regulatory excellence. The meeting also included a courtesy visit to FCC’s Executive Chairman, Hon. Hulayat Ayo Omidiran, where committee members expressed support for ongoing reforms and institutional transformation.
