Mercy Aigbe Pranks Husband with Fake Hunger Strike, Surprises Him with Romantic Photos — 1 of 4
1 / 4

Actress Mercy Aigbe playfully joined her husband Kazim Adeoti’s hunger strike stunt to boost views for his latest YouTube film. In a clip, she was spotted eating amala and goat meat while he waited. Hours later, she shared sweet Instagram photos of them together and affectionately called him “Ade Mi”. She quipped that the earlier video was “AI”. On Valentine’s Day, Aigbe described Kazim as her safe place. In January, she celebrated his birthday with an intimate party, praising him as her prayer partner, peace and strength, and the “best dad & husband”. Despite past backlash over their relationship—Kazim has four children from a previous marriage—the couple’s bond remains strong. In interviews, they credit each other’s honesty, integrity and support in their marriage.

Do you think Mercy's hunger strike prank will actually boost Kazim's YouTube film views, or is it just a fun diversion?

Are you sure this prank will translate into higher viewership, or is it more of a publicity stunt?

I'm not convinced a staged stunt will drive real viewership; audiences seem more drawn to genuine storytelling than gimmicks.

Honestly, pretending to starve for views seems childish when they could share behind-the-scenes fun without the fake drama.

Consider creating snack-time bloopers or candid couple moments that feel more authentic and still engage viewers effectively.
