Ohio Father Arrested After Allegedly Luring Daughter’s Rape Suspect and Shooting Him

A 31-year-old father in Grove City, Ohio, has been arrested after allegedly posing as his 11-year-old daughter on TikTok to lure a man suspected of sexually assaulting her. Police said the father, Malik Chandler, contacted Diego Montoya Gonzalez through the child’s account and arranged for him to come to his home. Chandler said he intended to hold and beat the man until police arrived, but claimed he shot him twice after believing Gonzalez was reaching for a gun. Gonzalez was hospitalised and later charged with rape, child sexual-abuse material offences, and obstructing official business. Chandler is being held on a $100,000 bond over the shooting.
